Job Information

Primary Responsibilities:
•Work with overseas Development community to insure quality application development and support
•Data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementation of schemas, and to interpret and write complex SQL queries
•Develop designs, analysis, and budgets on database specific projects as assigned
•Partner with the internal user community to analyze existing systems and solutions, identify areas for process improvement and guide the business in the establishment of effective and efficient automated solutions
•Develop data requirements for application/inter-application test plans and test scenarios; verify test results. Coordinate testing activities for appropriate applications system development team(s) with database Administrators as required
•Gathers requirements, conducts business analysis and writes functional and technical design specifications
•Maintain SQL Server databases in the development and test environments. Create/alter databases; replicate databases; perform day-to-day database administration

Qualifications:
•8+ years of SQL Server experience (5+ years experience must be in Health Care setup)
•Microsoft Certified SQL database administrator Required
•Experience with SQL 2000 & 2005 Required
•BS degree in Computer Science Required, Master Degree preferred
•Strong background in database analysis, design and development
•Data modeling, database optimization, writing SQL queries
•Database upgrades, installations, performance tuning, stored procedures and triggers
•Working knowledge of Microsoft’s SQL Server Reporting Services Required
•Must be a team-player and thrive in an environment that promotes strong individual skills that are easily applied to the goals of the team and company.
•Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment; works on and completes multiple tasks at one time, meets deadlines, and self-recognizes and adapts to priorities that change often
