We already have other vendors we use- why should we add another?
You benefit from the competition. There is no cost for us to work on an opening, our costs are extremely competitive, we specialize in technology, and we are a proven vendor for many of top corporations in the area and across the country. The bottom line for you is finding the best person for the job. Why not take a look at our top one or two candidates? The worst thing that could happen is you see a couple more extremely qualified candidates. We are confident that if we don't quickly become your top vendor, your top vendor will improve because we will be pushing them.
We have an internal recruiting staff, why should we work with Future Link as well?
If finding the best people available on the market is a priority, and if finding them in a swift and efficient manner is important, then working with Future Link in addition to your own internal efforts makes complete sense. There is absolutely no cost for our recruitment process to you-we are only compensated for results! On top of that, even if you hire one of our candidates, our hourly expense to you is often less than that of most companies’ internal employee overhead. The “hidden costs” of having an employee on your full-time payroll can be a lot more than you might initially think. Payroll taxes, workers comp, unemployment insurance, liability insurance, payroll administration, 401(k), stock options, profit sharing, health, dental, vision, vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay, training, and a myriad of other possible perks and incentives can end up costing you an arm and a leg. Future Link offers you the ability to have a specialized, top-tier recruiting firm quickly solve your staffing problems; while limiting your expenses and giving you a great on-the-job evaluation period to alleviate any “human factor” issues before you make someone part of your full-time staff.
Why are contract employees better than permanent?
There are many reasons why most companies prefer to hire on a contract-to-perm basis over perm placement, but the overriding reasons are cost, quality assurance, and convenience. Contracts through staffing firms typically cost the same or less while providing the major benefit of an evaluation period or “test drive”. Today’s cutting edge companies find this to be an invaluable bit of QA when deciding whether to make a long-term investment in an employee, and they enjoy the convenience of companies like Future Link who handle all recruiting and personnel issues.
Rates may vary based upon skill set, experience, and market value, but we always work within your budget, and our prices never exceed what the fair market value is. Please contact your local Future Link account manager for more details.
How does Future Link find their people?
The recruiters at Future Link make their living finding the best technical professionals available using a variety of methods. Internet job boards, print ads, our existing database of candidates, extensive networking through users groups, associations, and referrals, and many other methods comprise the typical arsenal of an Future Link recruiter.
I have an opening in a city where Future Link is not yet located. Can you still help us?
Absolutely! Although we prefer to have a local presence for screening purposes, our quality processes and thorough background investigations allow us to recruit great candidates for any location. We have made many, many successful remote placements for our clients.
What does Future Link do to retain employees?
Retention has never been a problem with Future Link. We allow our placements to be taken on permanently, we pay them very competitive rates, and we offer very sound benefits. Our internal staff of recruiters, account managers, and support staff are in constant contact with all of our contract employees, attending to their needs, hand-delivering paychecks, taking them out to lunch, and giving them the kind of attention that is virtually unheard of in this industry. We pride ourselves in being a staffing firm that takes our employees’ best interests to heart, in building strong professional relationships, and in providing an honest and professional career resource.
Do Future Link contract employees (temps) sign a contract as well?
Yes. All Future Link contract employees sign our Contract Employee Agreement, which stipulates the terms of employment. A copy will be made available to you at your request.
Who else is involved in the decision-making process?
On your end that decision is entirely up to you- you can include as many or as few people in the process as you would like. On our end, our recruiters make an initial judgment on a candidate, but it is the account manager who makes the final decision on whether or not to submit a particular candidate down for the client’s review.
